Born and raised just outside of Chicago and lived here all my life. I picked up the guitar at age nine and never stopped. Years of lessons thru grade school and high school eventually led to stuyding music at DePaul University in Chicago. I've played many dfferent styles - rock, metal, blues, folk, new-agey acoustic stuff, classical etc. These days my musical love is blurred somewhere between jazz and funk. I love jazz...studying and playing...but most at home performing it with a slightly groovy edge. Current projects are Chicago's Soul Jazz Quintet "Soulio" and rock trio "About Nothin." My baby - "New Math" (all original acid-funk-jazz outfit) is on extended hiatus but quite do for a rebirth.
