Bubblegum Slut zine Street Team

The UK’s only fake-fur covered glam / sleaze / punk / goth / trash zine is on the look out for a few special little soldiers to undertake promotional missions for it’s all-new Street Team. Ideally these will be avid readers of the zine, who want to spread the word, turn others on to the mag, and who wouldn’t mind getting themselves some free CDs, discount vouchers or annual subscriptions in the process. We will also accept individuals who just want to leave a trail of our stickers everywhere they go, or have a flair for dreaming up utterly shameless and stupid promotional stunts though.
If you’re not familiar with the zine already then zip over to www.myspace.com/bubblegumslutzine (No. 1 in the top friends section) and order yourself a copy!!
We’re on the look out for street teamers nationwide but especially in the following areas (where the zine is stocked).
* London
* Manchester
* Sheffield
* Birmingham
* Northampton
* Stockton / Newcastle / Middlesbrough
Plenty!
* Distributing flyers and stickers all over the place. Funniest / best / most bizarre place for a Bubblegum Slut sticker that’s found and photographed each month wins a year’s free subscription!
* Reselling zines - sign up to the street team and you’re entitled to bundles of zines at wholesale rate. (Bundle = minimum of 5. Wholesale rate = £1, down from £1.50 cover price). Sell ‘em on at shows, your band’s merch stand, to mates... and consider the proceeds a pint on us!
* Tell us about your local area - we’re always on the look out for new stockists and want to know about the best shops, bars and venues in your area to get in touch with!
* Stick Bubblegum Slut banners (below) all over your corner of cyberspace. Shout about new issues on your messageboards and communities.
* Send us suggestions for even more ways to promote the ‘Slut!
So what can we do for you?
* Send you plenty of stickers, badges and other goodies for a start - just ask!
* Free subscription when you find and photograph the funniest / best / most bizarre location for a Bubblegum Slut sticker every month.
* Free CDs and discount vouchers when your tip-off on a local bar, venue or store leads to Bubblegum Slut getting stocked there.
* Bands - take a wholesale bundle for your merch stand and get free / discounted advertising in the zine in return
* ...And we can give you our undying love and respect for your help. Well that’s what counts isn’t it? ;)
