James Flora- Plays guitar and sings in the band and has been playing guitar for about 10 years. He is 20 years old and is currently attending Western Carolina University. His love for music began when he was a child listening to his Dad’s records like The Eagles, James Taylor, The Doobie Brothers, Ricky Skaggs, The Allman Brothers, Led Zeppelin, and The Beatles to name a few. His Dad played some acoustic guitar and began teaching him the basics. But after James was introduced to Nirvana by his older friend who had all of their cd’s and other bands such as Green Day and Metallica, playing guitar and writing songs in a band became his dream. Since then he has been musically influenced by a number of different styles and genres, anything that really sparks an emotion is good music to him.
Mark Brady- Plays drums in the band and has been playing for about 6 years. His first musical influence was Green Day when he was in the 2nd grade heard "basket case" and was amazed. That wasn't enough about two years later he stumbled upon the Black Album by Metallica which was his cousins and this changed his outlook on the music he liked. Mark keeps his music style and selection very open-minded. His favorite bands currently are Mudvayne, Alter Bridge, Metallica, Deftones, Disturbed, and Flaw. His main inspirations are his parents for giving him the gift to follow his dreams. He plays with Zildjian cymbals and Tama rock star classic set made from birch wood.
