I am a person who loves what they do and loves touching people's lives. I really feel that God has led me to work with college students in campus recreation, because to me something as small as intramurals can really affect someone's life the way that it affected me. Believe it or not, I am actually a musician with 23 years of piano playing and a vocal performance in Carnegie Hall- yeah I know I don't look the part. Now, I'll have to copy my good friend Shanelle and give you some random facts about me.I am terrified of scary movies~~~I have four high school football teammates currently playing in the NFL~~~I am left handed~~~I am the oldest of five children, with 21 years of difference between siblings~~~I am EXTREMELY reminiscient~~~I hold no political affiliation because I think both parties are corrupt~~~However, I think anyone can be of either party and be a very productive American and a very patriotic person~~~Before I die, I want to go to Israel~~~I am formerly a strong Southern Baptist, but not a strong supporter of Southern Baptist Colleges and Universities~~~I attended four colleges in receiving two degrees~~~I love visit any city that has lots of historical sites~~~I never step on cracks~~~I have the initials of my deceased friends on my shoes that I wear to officiate outdoor sports~~~I am left handed, but I cannot use scissors or throw a frisbee left handed~~~I have had more injuries from officiating sports than I have from playing sports~~~I am terrified of spiders and snakes~~~I cry watching movies~~~I have made signs at sporting events and gotten on TV 4 times~~~I love watching the National Geographic Channel~~~For as long as I can remember, I have been a diehard fan of the New Orleans Saints and Chicago Cubs~~~I have a deviated septum~~~I was once a summer missionary in Brazil~~~When I was little, I wanted to be an astronomist~~~I prefer pro sports over college~~~I think the best way to make money on the side is officiating~~~I think the Big 10 is the most overrated conference in the NCAA~~~I hate the tuck rule~~~I am fascinated in researching the seven wonders of the ancient world~~~I have a memory like a steel trap~~~I'd rather sleep late and get off work a few hours later than go in early~~~I made it all the way through college in undergrad without ever having to "write a paper"~~~I still wear my high school football state championship ring~~~I have three family members who are ordained Southern Baptist ministers~~~I've played the piano since I was 3 years old~~~I love sports movies~~~I claim to be most attracted to "exotic women"~~~I never go to bed without watching at least part of the shows I recorded on tivo~~~I believe the SEC is the number one exploiter of young African Americans in the country~~~I also believe that the NCAA might be the most corrupt organization in the country and that there is not a single clean college football program that exists~~~I believe if the schools you got your undergrad and graduate degrees play each other, you should pull for the undergrad~~~I always sleep with music on~~~I have soul, but I have no rhythm~~~I believe the Beatles are the four most influential human beings to ever walk the face of the earth~~~I believe the people of Mississippi of all races and backgrounds make alot of selfish decisions that set us back years every time they are made~~~However, I still think Mississippi is the greatest state in the world, but Tennessee is growing on me!
