About Me

We are the mighty...
LANKY AND THE MIDGETS
But wait! You're probably asking yourself, "Who are these mighty titans of funk-rock musical abilities?"
The two original band members Hugo Rigby (Lead Guitar) & Leo Dolan (Bass) started the band off in April 2006 when they would miss assignment periods at school and spend their time in the music department jamming. This was all fun but it wasnt really the band experiance they were looking for.
So one lonely weekend when no-one was in school they went to jam in the music department once again but this time they invited along their friend Jamie Hajilongname (Drums).
Once again this was fine 'n' dandy but none of them could sing so after an hour or so of messing about with random riffs they called up Mr. Lanky himself, Will Flint (Rhythm Guitar/Lead Vocals). Now this time it worked: it might not have worked well but as far as they knew it felt good. Soon the music felt better, and with positive comments from randomers they said let's do a concert!"
So, from then on they hit it hard and practised every minute they could until they finally got some songs together and did the concert they had set out to do. It felt good.

I Woz Here EP
If you want a copy of our debut EP, come and ask us, or give us an email. It will cost from £1-£2, + p&p. We will also make the EP available for download on here, and we will only be making 100-200 copies of the CD, which won't come with any label on the CD except for a hand-written title. We'll take pre-orders now; it should be out by the end of June, although we are still writing some songs, so nothing is guaranteed.
