Band Members: A long, long time ago in a studio far, far away, a lone figure sits in a chair, shadows play across busy fingers reaching for keys. Eyes glazed over and a look of total concentration, a bigger drum, a fatter sound, the hottest mix. This is how Macutchi was spawned and over the course of next twelve months two others joined to form this elusive group.Macutchi are Phil Jubb, Terry Higson and Michael Chadwick from Bolton in the UK, a group of producers and DJs who have all been working in or around music from as far back as we can remember!Mike, possibly the most tightly wound person in living memory! A hurricane on the ones and twos melts vinyl like butter. he’s as tricky as a fox with magic mixes and a sorcerer of the scratch. Some say he appeared from a bolt of lightning dressed in a loincloth holding only a record bag. Now known as DJ Ogle.Phil is the producer/writer for macutchi,and a motivated merlin in front of a computer! He has skills on a keyboard and loves to tweak with knobs and press all the right buttons. If you want to get into his head listen to the tracks! With a love of all music he wants to bring extraordinary sounds to an ordinary world.
