About Me

THE STORY
Snowblinds opened up it's bloody bandages at a hazy morning in October 2000. The basic idea was to cover the grand master BLACK SABBATH. The start line up was: Spaceman (Voc, Gtr) , Goblin (Bass), Migraine (Gtr) and Batnam (Drums). In the spring 2001 it was the time to make the first big major changes. The band started to compose new own songs, but Black Sabbath still had a big role in the gigs.
In the year 2002 still un-released Tales from the Gotham city was recorded in Fantom studio in Tampere. The same fall Snowblinds recorded a new 4 song promo CD including also the song The Human Race.
After that year had gone by the band did tens of gigs till the next major change. The new year 2006 started with a new guitar player. Migraine was replaced with Spaceman’s old band mate Neve from Tampere.
After that the whole Snowblinds production was re-arranged in the new way. Some songs dropped out from the list and rest of the songs were made heavier. The new production started with Neve taking the main role in composing new material.
2007 was again time for the big changes. Keyboard player Anna joined in the group early in the year. The bass player Goblin decided to retire in the spring. Janne joined the band quickly. We started quickly to rehearse new songs because the record sessions were already booked. The current line-up is: Spaceman (voc, gtr), Batnam (drums), Neve (gtr), Anna (keys) and Janne (Bass).
In the june 2007 we recorded a demo with three new songs: Day Erased, Mistress and Blood on the Snow. The demo was produced and recorded by Juho Räihä (Before the Dawn, Gloria Morti and Riverside Syndicate) and mastered by Mika Jussila (Finnvox). The demo has actually a "theme". The story is basically about a cheating husband and his wife who kills him with a knife to the snow. Day Erased is about afterlife…
