La vocalista Vanessa Del Fierro conocida como "la guerita", es distingida por su gran voz unica y a la vez poderosa. Vanessa es reconosida en los Estado Unidos por ser escogida por el senor Emilio Estefan para ser parte del programa "Voces de America", cual fue una serie muy popular de Telemundo. Tambien ha sido parte del famoso programa anual visto por millones de televidentes, Mariachi Disney y Sabado Gigante en Univision, y ha sido invitada por multiples companias como Verizon Wireless y Cavender Autoplex, para representarlos en sus comerciales y presentaciones. Vanessa tuvo el honor de ser parte de las revistas People en Espanol y Ocean Drive Magazine en Espanol!!! Vanessa y Los Hombres de Fierro esta compuesto por musicos jovenes y talentosos que retumban el esenario con su energia supernatural. El grupo esta conducido musicalmente por Erasmo Altamirano, quien ha trabajado junto con Vanessa ya por varios anos, incluyendo en el primer show de Mariachi cual estuvo establesido por seis meses en el famoso strip de Las Vegas! Vanessa y Los Hombres de Fierro han sido invitados para ser parte de varios eventos muy populares incluyendo "Celebracion de Fiestas Patrias 2008" conducido por Univision Radio en San Antonio, TX. para mas de 20,000 personas! Vanessa y Los Hombres de Fierro han compartido esenarios con multiples estrellas del mercado hispano como Fito Olivares, Los Traileros, Bobby Pulido, Reik y muchos mas y esperan seguir sembrando sus huellas para conquistar aun mas corazones! Vanessa y Los Hombres de Fierro is the fastest growing group to hit the latin market. The new "cumbia" group has already been nominated for best "cumbia tropical" group in 2009's Premios a La Musica Latina!!! Fronted by their powerhouse vocalist Vanessa Del Fierro (known as "la guerita"), this band is truly making their mark in latin entertainment. Vanessa is already recognized throughout the United States being that she was handpicked herself by music mogul, Emilio Estefan to be a part of "Nuevas Voces de America", a hit series on Telemundo. You may also recognize Vanessa from the festival de Mariachi Disney or her appearance on Sabado Gigante both huge hit shows on Univision. Vanessa has also been invited by well known companies such as Verizon Wireless and Cavender Autoplex to represent their businesses on national television commercials. Her face has appeared in People en Espanol alongside Oribe (Jennifer Lopez' Hairstylist) and the world famous Ocean Drive en Espanol!!! Vanessa y los Hombres de Fierro is comprised of talented young musicians that each bring a unique taste of their own sense of musicality that is blended into what many call "a breath of fresh air." The music is a combination of cumbia and ballads filled with heavy, live brass and pop sounds to keep it radio friendly but NEVER losing the true CUMBIA sound! The band is led by accomplished producer/songwriter Erasmo Altamirano who teamed up with Vanessa to form what is now Vanessa y los Hombres de Fierro. Erasmo Altamirano worked with Vanessa in the first ever mariachi show to be stationed in Las Vegas. Vanessa y Los Hombres de Fierro have also been a part of many important events including "Celebracion de Fiestas Patrias 2008" which brought in over 20,000 people hosted by Univision Radio. Vanessa y los Hombres de Fierro have performed along side some of the greatest names in entertainment such as Fito Olivares, Los Traileros, Bobby Pulido and Reik (too name a few) and are quickly marking their spot in the industry. The name “hombres de Fierro†comes from Vanessa’s last name Del Fierro, which means steel, in other words “men of steel.†The name was chosen because Vanessa is already recognized nationally through her different participations on popular television networks, and wanted something that would still sound familiar. (Plus the name is tough) The last name “Del Fierro†is also very famous in Mexico and has numerous songs and movies written about Vanessa’s bloodline. Vanessa y los Hombres de Fierro has only one objective in their performance…to make you dance!With a nationwide "buzz" that this group's unreleased album is generating, an almost conquering of the market is almost immanent!
