Hay I'm John Mac. I live in Kailua Kona, thats on the Big Island of Hawaii.I paint stuff, houses mostly but what ever .and I DJ alittel bit around Kona, I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, but have lived in Hawaii for about the last 5 years now.but I've lived allover, Atlanta ,Brooklyn, San Deigo and some lesser points inbetween. Is this the part whare I fully bullshit & try to sound really cool. Let's see I started Djing about 91.W/DJ Sean Murry did did our thing(RENEGADE SOUND SYSTEM) in and around the Bay Area & Marin starting in 93.Including the now infamous Annual 420 Party, as well as numerous one offs,and associations . Now I'm kind of more focsed on gardening than partying these days. I still spin a bit, on the weekends(or whenever the occasion calls),I'm kind of focused on production & remixing on my box & with my MPC2000xl at home . Oh yeah & I'm currently switching from vinal to an all CD'format.Something I never thought I'd do. But Records are heavy and delicate . Hard to burn a new trac onto a piece of vinal,but that would be cool.Next I want to upgrade to Seratio. So anyway add me to your list and it'll be a whole lot of fun.I'm always looking to trade music or talk story as we say here in Kona. Anyway ahui ho! And Aloha!!
