So I have decided to let you know who I am under the mask that I usually want the world to see. The Word of God says, "Therefore confess your sins to one another and pray for eachother so that you may be healed" -James 5;16 The world view of a Christian is that of someone who is living a life of pride and flawlessness but in reality we have the same struggles the world is. I'm thankful I am filled with the knowledge of God's Word but I sruggle with temptation everyday, and not only struggle, but give in to...things like drinking, lust, sex, smoking and anger. I desire so much to overcome these things and to no longer conform to the ways of the world and most importantly, not quench the Holy Spirit within me! God has blessed me abundantly with His Grace because His plans for me is of a Hope and a future. Yet my plans for me is self gratification. His ways are not mine and I want be holy because He is holy. There is no greater love than His and I still feel it! My Spirit longs to be fulfilled of obedience to the Lord...complete obedience. One of the fruits of the Spirit is "self control", yet that department I lack in most. "I do not understand what I do, for what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do." -Romans 7;15 I remove my mask to comfort my family in Christ. "Be self controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
