Welcome!
For over twenty years, the Palatine Women's Power Volleyball Organization (PWPVO) has provided an environment to compete in one of the greatest sports in the world while creating an opportunity to make lifelong friendships. Please join us for the Palatine Women's Power Volleyball Organization (PWPVO) 2006-2007 season!
Team Information:
-Where we play: Sundling Junior High; Palatine, IL
-Season: Thursdays from Sept-April
-Games: Every 3rd Thursday of the month (~4 matches/night)
-Practices: The first two Thursdays of each month from 6:45-9pm. (Includes an available certifed USAV coach, drills, queen of the court, scrimmages, and social nights!)
We follow the USAV rules. (Several current members of PWPVO also play USAV.)
PWPVO typically has at least two teams (9 players/team.) We play three times a month on Thursday from October to April to practice or play against other teams at the Palatine Park District.
This is a fun way to meet people, play volleyball, compete on a regular basis, and improve our skills.

Top Gun is probably number one simply because it has a still sane, and hot, Tom Cruise playing beach volleyball in slow-mo. Air Bud Spikes Back could be ranked number 2 ;)

college volleyball games, AVP games, USA volleyball games, beach and indoor Olympic volleyball

Heroes:

Fellow PWPVO players! Also, Karch Kiraly, Misty May-Traenor, Kerri Walsh-Jennings, Eric Fonoimoana, Sinjin Smith, Randy Stoklos, Logan Tom, Elaina Oden, Karen Kemner, Gabrielle Reece, Elaine Youngs, the list goes on and on..... Really, any exceptional athlete.
