I have been married to my high school love for 10 years now and we have been together for a total of 14 years. He really is the love of my life and I don't know what I would do without him. We have one child who is almost 7 years old.
We live in a three bedroom townhouse and share it with a mixed-breed cat and two lovely cockatiels.
I accepted Christ as my Savior when I was 17 years old after attending church for a couple of months. I believe that there is only one way to heaven and that is by accepting Jesus Christ who is God's son and came to this earth to die for payment of our sins as your Lord and Savior. It isn't about saying a prayer or living a perfect life. It is about putting your faith in Christ and living your life for him. "To live is Christ but to die is gain!" My husband is a youth pastor (hence the myspace.com name) and has been doing it for about 14 years. I have been involved in his ministry as a help to him for about 11 years. We both have a passion for teenagers (although his probably burns a little hotter than mine!) and seeing them come to know and love the Lord and live their life in service to Jesus Christ. I have a great group of girls that I personally disciple in grades 7-12. They are wonderful girls and are really trying to live for Jesus and hopefully I am helping with that. I am fairly active in my churches ministries and love spending time with the teens and with the younger children. I also am in charge of my churches library ministry and love doing this! Of course I love books, so it is a perfect fit.
I come from a large family. I mostly lived with my biological mom (Roxane) and step-dad (Wayne) growing up. My step-dad was in the Navy, so we moved around a lot! During the summer I spent time with my biological dad (Harold) and step-mom (Becky). My mom has since divorced and gotten remarried to Gregg. I have a total of 4 sisters: Autumn, Hannah, Ashlee, and Tessa and 8 brothers: Gabriel, Skip, Blake Gregg Jr. Jerrold, Jerrod, Canaan, and Jacob.
Most of my family still lives in Missouri, but I have one brother in California, one brother in North Carolina, and a sister in Indiana.
