Hailing from da wicket streets of gainesville,fl is tha 24 year old rapper/sanga/songwriter better known as a Deuce Cutta. equipped with lryics and undeniable song writing ability,deuce has been doing his thing since 96'. "i was watching all the dope boyz do they thing..Mamma working like a slave..i was being a hard head and one day i just felt like writing".. and since then deuce has become one of the most prominant artist in Florida.growing up on artist such as twista,psycho drama,z-ro tha crooked,eighball & mjg,do or die and B.G. its easily understood why he respects his craft as much as he does. but for Young Cutta the road wasn't always easy. having dropped out of highschool his senior year,turning to drug traffic'n and also dealing with a few personal addictions to tha streets and seeing his best friend get shot in the head,it was more so the reality of struggle that bred what you see and hear today in his music. "struggle made me appreciate life in general,religion gave me breath and da streets gave me hope,cause i seen niggaz out here getting it from nothing and this aint no movie"..deuce also has an affiliation with the infamous Black Disciple Nation(3)that he chooses not to speak on.all this before his 19th birthday.but soon after tha drama,trials and tribulation.Rap finally began to flurish by way of a trip to Miami,florida which led to him signing to now defunct independent label "for tha streets entertainment". Deuce got his first chance to shine by performing at T-Pains signing day party @ Club Playa,with his then first single featuring JT Money "Hands up". cutta second time around was a fire standout verse on the Rick Ravish(older brother of Group Pretty ricky) track "official"..even garnering some attention by Pretty ricky. locking down studio sessions wit Lil'Wayne,Luc Duc,SoSouf,Picallo and Ft.Lauderdale's own Cognac SLim..being new to tha game was no longer the case. but eventually Deuce's discontent with how the label was delaying his debut and also mishandle a potential deal with PoeBoy Entertainment led him to leave and it was back to tha basics.a chance meeting with Pensacola's own Casino Redd,led to the underground classic "Da Gutta" and a slew of other tracks and 2 mixtapes leading to an affiliation with Real Playa entertainment. Deuce is Currently working on his debut street album/Mixtape to satisfy those that have been waiting for a release for ova 3 years.expect big things
