Blessed with mad skills and a skate ethic to make any Boston Irishman proud, P.J. Ladd has emerged over the last couple of years as one of the most revered and respected skateboarders riding today. Due to his tendency to keep it on the down low--usually skating by himself or with a couple of close friends--he has unintentionally built up quite a mystique around himself within the skateplanking community.Although his face shows up in the occasional video and he totally kills it in all the demos on éS tours--blowing away the minds of every kid present--P.J. remains an enigma to many. Why is this man, who inhabits such an enviable position at the top of the skate heap, so quiet and brooding, avoiding all of the limelight and hype that most kids and aspiring pros would die for?The answer is simple: he just wants to keep skating for fun, which is the way he started, and the way it should be.
