About Me

I'm an exec in Professional Minor League baseball and have recently moved to San Angelo, Tx from Laredo, Tx. Go to this url http://sanangelocolts.com/team/staff/ and click on my name for my professional bio. I won't bore you with it here. I'm also a former police officer and detective with the Austin Police Department.
Mainly I'm a single dad. My oldest son recently moved to Arkansas and now I have my 17 yr old son (Branden) and at the end of this summer, my 12 yr old daughter (Erin) will be coming to live with me permanently. Being a single dad and working in pro baseball takes all of my time so I don't go out much and rarely date. I spend most of my time with my kids because during baseball season I work 18-20 hour days during home stands. Raising my kids to be responsible, caring, faithful, honest adults is more important to me than anything else.
I'm pretty laid back (read: boring) and don't get caught up in the bullshit of religion and politics. I like people who are nice, good people and not self-centered, ego driven jerks. I don't care what your religion or political leanings are. Politics and religion don't define who is "good" and who is not. We define ourselves by our own actions without making constant excuses.
I don't like crapheads who spread rumors, gossip or who talk about other folks behind their backs. If someone tells me a rumor or gossip about someone we both know, I go to go straight to that person and tell them what the person told me and tell them who it was that told me the gossip. I don't like bullshit drama so don't involve me in it. I don't give second chances if you screw me over. Once is enough. No excuses.
I DEEPLY believe in karma, almost to a fault.
I also believe in laughter. If ya can't laugh, then ya need to go soak your head! I like to joke around and tease folks from time to time and have fun. I can take a joke and give one right back. LOL
Obviously I'm a pretty open and honest person. I have nothing to hide so if you have a question, just ask.
Anyway, if I haven't scared you away by now, feel free to check out the rest of my myspace.
