In an old Penguin edition of D.H Lawrence's "Women In Love," the author's biography says that, "he spent much of his short life living." One day, I want someone to write that about me. For the most part, though, humans are in a stasis, a stagnant point: routine is just repetition; a safety net/zone that people are afraid to break out of. I am awaiting the opportune moment when I can break out of the mundane, the daily. I like to surround myself with people who are interesting and keep me on my feet, because i get bored easily.
I want to change people. I want to make a difference in someone's life and practise and live my life as best I can and as spiritually as I can, within the boundaries that I have set up for myself.
One day, I walked into a CD Warehouse in Ottawa and bought Spingsteen's "Greatest Hits" and Madonna's "Erotica." The guy at the counter smiled at me and shook his head and said, "wow, I have never ever seen anyone buy Springsteen and Madonna at the same time." THIS is who I Am.
