About Me

I'm a drummer and conga player living and playing in New York. I play all types of music, but specialize in funk, r&b and jazz. I played a number of years in a Jersey Shore based band that covered funk, pop and rock and did some poppy originals with funk undertones. You can catch me sitting in occasionally with the super stanky RSP Experiment at the Bitter End in the West Village. I also play in central Jersey with pop/indie rockers the Backbeat and singer/songwriter extraordinaire Don Lee.

My love of music started with my parents, who turned me on to Motown, as well as some early James Brown, Aretha, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, some doo-wop, and the occasional Billy Joel record. I started listening to Led Zeppelin and other classic rock in junior high school. Then my high school buddy/garage band mate introduced me to Sly and P-Funk and I found the Truth.
