lo9on, Inc. (formerly known as Studio EFX) was founded on January 1, 2000 by brothers Jay & Mike Zeballos. We are web designers who are fascinated with technology and its influence on the future of media.
We are also students under World Jiu-Jitsu Champion Jean Jacques Machado. Jean Jacques is one of the five Machado Brothers, world-reknown experts in the martial art known as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
On February 24, 2006 these two worlds came together with the launch of the Jean Jacques Machado Global Online Training Program. Over a year of research and development went into designing the most advanced online instructional program in the world. Powered by our revolutionary T.A.P.â„¢ (Technique Assimilation Program) Console, the program provides users a progressive, interactive learning experience. In addition, members can interact with Jean Jacques, ask questions and receive video responses!
Fast forward to today (August 23, 2009). There are nearly 1,000 Instructional clips in the program (we had 100 when the site first launched). In addition, numerous features and benefits have been added. One of the most popular being the Guest Instructor sections. Jean Jacques has brought in 15 guest instructors to contribute material to the program. Other Black Belts (including his own brothers Rigan & John), Wrestling Champions, Judo Champions, as well as some of his own Black Belts.
Also new for 2009 is our new iphone web application! Now the power of online training is at your fingertips where ever you go!
The program has allowed Jean Jacques to reach a global audience and provide them with not only the high level instruction he is known for, but the resources that will allow them to retain and further expand their skills. It has been a very rewarding experience for everyone involved and there is more on the way.
