Everybody, who knows the tale Le Fantôme de l'Opéra from Gaston Leroux, knows her name as well ~ Christine Daaé. I use the name of Christine Daaé as my own, to give her the proper credit and hommage, she deserves.
That is why I chose her name, or rather the name Monsieur Gaston Leroux named her in his famous novel. Also with my website www.ChristineDaae.de I pay proper hommage to her, in all her kinds and forms. I do not feature one certain actress on my website.
I own a huge collection of anything Le Fantôme de l'Opéra and Christine Daaé. No matter what you wish to know about this famous tale, I know it or am able to find it out because of my big amount of sources and contacts. You will not find the answers on my websites, because neither my Encyclopedia Phantasma nor my Bibliotheca Daaé will ever be completely online. There is no need for me to put everything online to display it to the world.I know what I own and whom I met and where I was. But know: I certainly own no bootlegs. I do not need them, I do not collect them, I do not want them and so ~ of course ~ I do not trade them. There is no no need to ask me about them. Any inquiry about those will be deleted and owners will be reported.
I am neither a fan nor a PHan, I am an admirer of this tale, but have very less in common with its fans and PHans. Of course I will never call Le Fantôme de l'Opéra POTO or Christine Daaé CD, this is irreverently. Actually any abbreviation about this tale, the names and involved people and songs is disliked deeply by me, also word combinations such as Merik, Gerik, Lerik, Yerik or ChristinErik. This is PHan behavior, not mine. I respect this tale ~ of course any version of it ~ as well as any involved person or character, any actor or composer, I do not feature one certain person. You will never find me using these abbreviations and combinatins or find me calling an actor/actress/composer/producer by his first name, unless I am allowed to do so. As you may have noticed, I prefer the french names ~ such as Le Fantôme de l'Opéra or Le Persan, of course written correctly. Personally I use only one abbreviation - F. de l'O., because Gaston Leroux himself used it.
