About Me
Born, Broderick Hicklen (B-DO), in the southern town of Nashville, TN where he began his life as a survivor. B-DO was raised on Thurman Street, on the south side of Nashville across from the former Vine Hill Public Housing Projects. Growing up in the streets of south Nashville he dealt with the struggle of the streets and watching his mother deal with multiple sclerosis. Watching her agony on a daily basis and fighting the daily conflicts of the south side of Nashville, gave him the vigor to pick up his pen and pad and use his torment as ammunition in his music. B-DO'S fierce delivery and his constant passion made rapping an outlet for his pain.
B-DO started his career with B.O.P, where he is featured on many albulms, such as: 100% Bezzeled, Back to da Bezzel, Kuntry Oligy. After those efforts he conversed with Maurice Braiden, Chief Executive Officer of Felonious Records, where he is featured on the labels mix tape Streets Volume 3. B-DO has also had the priviledge of working with Broadway, Ego, Stix, Paper, Fate Eastwood, and many more artist.
Being seasoned in age, full of experience and wisdom he feels that his time has come to release his first albulm, Time I$ Money, do to drop January 22, 2007. B-DO is one of Nashville's, If not the South's best kept secret. He is ready to unleash his passion on the world and gain the respect that he
