"DREAMIN TAKES WORK AND WORK TAKES TIME",
Shelley knows about dreamin, work, and time. Country music single to be released soon is "Dreamin Takes Work".
"Texas Red" as Shelley Anderson is sometimes called is writing music for her second country music album. "A good songwriter writes songs
folks can relate to. I love country music because these songs remind us that we are only human. Life always takes unexpected turns and we know we can look to someone greater than ourselves to find our way back.
"If I can connect with my audience through my lyrics even in a small way,
I feel I have succeeded." explains Shelley.

Texas Singer Songwriter Shelley Anderson grew up in Houston,Texas surrounded by a talented musical family. She is one of eight kids and has been singing and performing for as long as she can remember. But not until 1996 did she begin writing her own lyrics and music. Her recent projects reflect the heart and soul of what she loves most, country music. Her vocal qualities and style are unique and her own, but she has been compared to Patsy Cline, Martina McBride, with a smattering of Wynnona Judd.
