BMB SOUND is in the business of providing sound reinforcement for any of your small events or shows in the Central New York region.
The business is operated by Me (Brian Bench). I have all of the necessary experience needed. I spent a year at Finger Lakes Community College studying Music Recording and Live Audio. I did want to pursue a career in Studio Recording, but have since changed directions towards Live Sound Reinforcement, and have stuck with it for a little over a year now.
This IS a business for me, I do sound for shows as a part time job. There are rates by which I go by, and are:
- For any show with as many as 4,5 or 6 bands I charge a flat rate of $50.
- For any show OR "fests" with 6-10 bands or more I charge $50-$100.
These rates ARE negotionalble and may depend on a couple things like:
- Location of the event.
- Whether or not I have done sound for you before...
If you have a benefit event that you are putting on and need someone to do sound for free, or for as little money as possible I am always willing to help. I have done benefits/birthday parties before for free and have no problem doing more of them.
I have worked with many bands, some big names but mostly locals. I have worked in many of the local venues and have worked with a lot of the local promoters. You can check out all of the old flyers to see what bands, venues and promoters I have worked with for references.
