Jayson Belt

I started out writing music with a friend years ago and it just kind of kept going. In the last five years, I've spent time touring with Dave Matthews, Counting Crows, Maroon 5, Something Corporate and others. I've loved every moment of all of it but need something new.
The goal of this site is to experiment a bit. Throughout the course of this myspace you will hear songs in process, demos, songs from television and songs with friends. The latter being the thing that excites me the most right now.
If you liked The Red West then I hope you enjoy what I'm doing. If you had hoped for something a bit more in depth from The Red West, maybe this is it. Maybe it's not and that's okay too.
Do me a favor and invite people if you think they'd enjoy it. I'm open to suggestions and ideas. If you've got 'em, send them all my way. I like the criticism and I value the compliments. Thank you to those of you that have been around to watch my part of this adventure from the beginning. Hopefully the next page will be as exciting as the opening.
