Grace Grace Grace Grace Grace Grace Grace Grace Grace Grace Grace Grace Grace Grace Grace Grace Grace Grace Grace Grace Grace Grace Grace GraceI am an Australian Woman who was born in Scotland. So you see my heart is in two places. I love my Scottish Heritage. My family immigrated to Australia when I was 5. Australia has been home for most of my life. I love living here.
* I am a christian.. a follower of Jesus. He is my rock, my refuge. He has walked with me all the days of my life, He knows me better than I know myself. I love Him.I choose to go where He wants me to go and do what He wants me to do.He has promised to never leave me or forsake me. What a comfort He is to me especially in dark days! I love my Husband and my family. I am very Blessed.
* I am married to Michael, my friend, my confidante, my travelling companion along the journey of life, a wonderful man, we have been married for 27 years and have been through alot together. We have done the whole for better for worse..in sickness and in health thing. He loves me just the way I am!
* I love most of all being a mum. I have three beautiful daughters. Sarah is my lovely eldest Daughter. She turns 26 this year, she is Amazing and creative and beautiful inside and out, she is the bravest girl I know. I love to hear her play piano and guitar, makes me feel at peace. We love to watch cooking shows together.
* Claire is a beautiful 24yr old, she just moved out of home to work in Sydney. I miss her alot! She loves photography and works in fashion, She has an amazing sense of humour and a quick wit, she has us all laughing most of the time. She has a caring heart. She took the photograph that is my amazing background pic!
* Hayley is my baby, she just turned 21, so no more teenagers! She is planning to head to London in June to be a nanny!!. She loves Sci-fi (Skiffy) and writing short stories. She is a fun, creative, lovely girl. They are my pride and joy.
* I also have the best sister in the world. We are very close and we are best friends, I love her to pieces!
* I am an artist of sorts and love to paint, my specialty is Folk Art and Decorative painting which I teach in the local community.
* I work in community Aged Care, assisting the elderly to stay in their homes as long as possible. There is so much to learn from their wisdom and perseverence in a lifetime of experience, we just have to learn to listen! I am doing what I love and what I am meant to be doing at the moment. Each new day is an adventure into the future God has prepared for me.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

My Auntie Annie... again

And all my Scottish Family.

My lovely Dad died a few years ago and I miss him heaps. He was an gentle man who lived in incredible times. He served in WW2 and participated in the D-Day landings. He was a survivor. He worked underground in the coal mines in Scotland. My mother died when I was just 11 and my sister was 8. He was left to raise us alone. He did his best. He loved to "tinker" with electronics and anything that moved...to see how it worked. It didn't always work again by the time he had finished with it! He was always present in his grandchildren's lives and they knew that he loved them. Thank the Lord for memories!!
