About Me

The Story of No Outlet:
Way back "in the day" - like four or five years ago, the shell of what is now No Outlet was formed. Years later, three of the four original members still remain. Mike, Dave and Rob are still the core of the music behind one of Jersey's best new rock bands. Along the way the line-up of musicians and singers changed too many times to count and at one point they even lost their bass player, Dave. But differences were later settled and they were reunited with the better of the two bass players. The history of their singers doesn't matter, all that matters is that their new front man and singer, Matt is the beginning and end of what No Outlet needed to complete a band that always lacked slightly on the vocal side.
The chemistry that the four members of No Outlet share can be felt through their music, especially live. Being listed as "alternative rock" just for the purpose of needing a category is confusing to those who know their music because people seem to feel that No Outlet is in an indescribable genre. A rollercoaster of melody, harmony and rhythm with a touch of progressive complexity comparitively takes them miles away from ordinary bands and creates true definition between even their own songs. The only good way for you to describe or understand No Outlet is for you to see them live.
