Fred Kron is a Television and Film Composer based in Los Angeles California. He started playing the piano at the early age of 1 years old by pounding out the notes to "Happy Birthday," and has been playing ever since. Growing up, Fred studied classical music, but gravitated towards playing everything and anything he heard on the radio. In the year 2000, he graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in studio music and jazz piano performance, and made the move out to LA. Currently, Fred's music can be heard across the television airwaves from FOX, CBS, and NBC, to CNN and everything in between. Listen durring this football season for his themes to "The NFL on FOX," and "The BCS on FOX." Recent projects, include arranging, orchestrating, and recording for Disney's "High School Musical 3," "The Cheetah Girls: One World," Warner Brother's "Yes Man," MTV's "The American Mall," and as a composer, the new FOX Sports Main ID.NEWS!! During a week long gig on Jimmy Kimmel Live, substituting for the amazing Jeff Babko, I found myself not only playing keyboards, but actually IN the show!!
