There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening, that is translated through you into action. There is only one of you in all time; therefore this expression is unique. If you block it, it will never exist through any other medium. The world wil not have it. It will be lost. It is not your business to determine how good it is, how valuable it is, or how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours, clearly and directly, and to keep the channel open. You have to keep open and aware directly to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. No artist is pleased. There is no satisfaction, whatsoever, at any time. There is only a queer, divine, dissatisfaction:

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that
wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You
will have your heart broken probably more than once and
it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so
remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight
with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things
an old one did. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.
