Words cannot express how much I will miss you. You are truly one of those unique blessings that come into our lives for the better. Being back in Los Angeles has been a pretty pleasant experience. I left three years ago for a job in the midwest. It was a great experience and my second time away from my hometown. I first moved to Washington DC right after college to work in Capitol Hill. These two experiences have definitely shaped the kind of person I am today. Being 3,000 miles away from family and friends gave me strength and perspective. It also allowed me some great experiences and the opportunity to meet wonderful people. DC was a great place to live and working on the Hill was an adventure. I will treasure that memory forever. Chicago was another great town to live in. Being from LA, I hadn't had the experience of a city like New York or Chicago. I lived in downtown Chicago the entire time I was there and I loved walking down Michigan Avenue, going to Cubs' games, the nightlife and so many other great activities Chicago has to offer. Now I am back in LA, who knows where my next stop will be but I am sure it will be fun.
I enjoy many things...sports, music, politics, reading. I try to be as open minded as I can so I can learn from people around me. I try to be a good friend and I enjoy making new friends. I have the best buddies in the world...check some of them out...

My Interests

I love music (any genre - well, maybe not polka but then again, who knows). I enjoy concerts as well. I am huge sports fan...soccer, baseball, hockey and basketball are some of my favorites. Don't ask me why but I find NASCAR quite interestingt too. :) I love reading...my favorite authors...Paulo Coelho, Tom Clancy, Dan Brown, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Federico Garcia Lorca, Benito Perez Galdos, Miguel Angel Asturias and many more.

I am also a very political person. My first job out of college was in the U.S. Congress (an honor in my mind) and it was the best experience I've ever had.

I'd like to meet:

The coolest crooner around...Michael Buble! :)
Hmmm...Adam Rodriguez. I can't get enough of him on CSI Miami. Thank God for the DVD...once a week is definitely not enough Adam. :) Jake Gyllenhaal...one of my favorite film actors! I also love Vincent D'Onofrio and Bradley Whitford. On the Latino side, Mauricio Ochmann is a favorite too. He's such a sweet and down to earth guy and a superb actor. I've met him before but each time I see him, it is special. ;)
I would love to make new friends. People that are fun, enjoy spending time having a cup of coffee at Starbucks and talking about our latest read or going out on the town for a night of dancing.

Music:

My favorites? I love all types of music. Right now, I love Michael Buble. He is bringing back the music of Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Dean Martin, etc. I love that type of music.I also love Spanish music...rock en espanol, pop, merengue, salsa, etc. Right now my big faves are Ricardo Arjona, Juanes, Alejandro Fernandez and Kinky...quite a mix...I know. I love rock...I like up and coming bands like the Redwalls. They are a virtually unknown band from Chicago that are going to be huge one day...mark my words. I like Coldplay, U2, Matchbox Twenty, Foo Fighters, Journey, etc. I am also big into '80's music...hey, I am after all a child of that decade. His purpleness "Prince" is one of my faves. I must confess that I was a huge fan of glam rock...Poison, Warrant, and Skid Row were so cool. Duran Duran and Pet Shop Boys are awesome, too.

Movies:

I love movies...my favorites? The Fantastic Four (Chris Evans is the Hottest Human Torch I could think of), Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, St. Elmo's Fire, Breakfast Club, SWAT (I adore Colin Farrell), and so on. I don't have an specific type of movie. But I do love action movies...I almost forgot...Air Force One, The Sum of All Fears, Clear and Present Danger, The Hunt for Red October...can't resist those.

Television:

I absolutely adore "CSI" (All of them...especially CSI Miami). I am also partial to CSI NY because I love Gary Sinise. I also enjoy "Entourage", "How I Met Your Mother" and "Law and Order". I am a huge fan of the History Channel and A&E. All those detective shows like "Cold Case Files", "Dallas SWAT" and "American Justice" are pretty cool. I am in public relations so I watch a variety of TV...news, entertainment, sports, etc. I have to be in the know. ;-)
I am also a big fan of cartoons. Some of my favorites are actually Japanese animation from the 70's and 80's. I love Mazinger Z, Battle of the Planets and Candy Candy. I have some of them on DVD now and it is awesome to take a trip down memory lane.

Books:

Anything by Paulo Coelho, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Tom Clancy. I have too many favorite books to list...I read at least one book a month...an obsession of mine I guess. My latest read? Veronika Decides to Die (Coelho).

Heroes:

My grandfather (because he always believed in me) and my parents (who love me and support me always).
