Krystel is being heard at a time when music is searching for someone who has all the elements necessary to reach R&B, Hip-Hop and Pop lovers alike. She has the poise and grace of a star, the inner and outer beauty to catch your eye and touch your heart, and the voice you can't mistake for anyone else. Her soulful voice infused with edgy pop and hip-hop beats is new and fresh, but her voice is reminiscent of the artists that have influenced her. "Patti LaBelle, Dusty Springfield, Tina Turner, Aretha, Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Mary J. Blige; those are my soul influences. Then there's Dolly Parton and Janis Joplin. Two very distinct voices. I also see the disco-era divas as a big influence on my style. There are so many classic dance tracks from the late 70's and early 80's that influence music today." Krystel has been nominted twice for the Southern Entertainment Awards for "Indy R&B Artist of the Year" and won the Song of the Year contest in 2004 for her and Saint's single "U Don't Know". Krystel has worked with major label artists in different genres of music, singing backup for Curb Recording artists Nemesis, touring and performing on television with Lyle Lovett and working with Grammy-winning producer/music director Shannon Sanders (Heather Headley, India.Arie, Haystak, Next) and producer/songwriter Drew Ramsey (Heather Headley, India.Arie, Brandy, Next). Krystel tours across the Midwest and South with a network of artists; La Familia Del Sol, headed up by Hip-Hop artist LATINO SAINT. She is Director of Operations for La Familia Del Sol Entertainment, a full service promotion and production company and for LAFA Music, the digital distribution arm of La Familia. She also performs with regional Funk/Soul band Burning Las Vegas. When you ask Krystel to describe herself as an artist in today's world, she takes it in stride; "I'm excited about the possibilities for independent music and humbled by my successes so far."

We believe that all people are family, we all live and breathe under one sun and strive to remind our audiences of the importance of one race: the human race.We have Caucasian, African-American, Latino, and Indian-American artists who are all working hard to make their mark in the music industry.
