Greetings and salutations. You might say I've been musically inclined my whole life. I'm told I whistled when I could barely talk. I danced to the choir in church (and no, we weren't baptists, we were catholics.). I've always had a love affair with music.
I started playing the organ when I was 6 years old. I barely practiced, which drove my mom nuts. With only 4 years of formal training, I have to say that I am mostly self taught.
In school, I learned to play the clarinet, and eventually the bass clarinet and contrabass clarinet. These were my first performances before an audience.
I was blessed to have gone to CASQUE for my last 2 years in highschool. This meant that there was a slam once a month where I got to perform my own original material.
For about 4 years after highschool, I did little when it came to music. But I'm back in the swing of things again, performing when I can, writing, learning songs, looking for more gigs, looking for new projects to start, and trying to figure out what to do about a demo.
Most recently, I've relocated from Queens, NY to Austin, TX. I'm hoping to find a community of like-minded artists here. Hit me up if you'd like to jam.
