About Me

So what's there to know? For me music is life, my soul feeds off of it. My life will always involve it no matter what. I rarely leave my house without my headphonesI have 2 sides to my music...DJ Carma SideI have been spinning since August 21st 2003, and I love it like no other job. . I'm still free-lance, spinning in Toronto and Barbados occasionally. I've played from backyards and basements to clubs and stages. I play where the crowd wants me.I spin pretty much anything that'll get a crowd moving n' bumping, but my heart lies with soca and reggae as I grew up in Barbados. Hip-hop, R&B, and Old Skool I'm loving with something fierce. I'm always open to anything.Composer SideI am a classically trained pianist with a love of jazz and soul, as a well as a budding guitarist. I'm a songwriter in the growing stages, and compose what comes to me. Sometimes it's for Tracy Chapman, sometimes for Donell Jones, most times for me. My life is full of incredible moments good and bad, and I usually channel the energy into song. I haven't been picked up by anyone as yet, but it'll change one day. When I actually finish a song that I'm not shy about I'll upload it.....hopefully by this week!

Sounds Like: DJ Side: I sound like ecstacy, but I take you higher. Whatever you wish to dance to, I'll alight your audible desire...Artist (Composer/Songwriter) Side: Everyone says I sound like Tracy Chapman...personally I'd love to meet her, and jam with her to see what she says. If it's deep and raspy, with a touch of croon I probably will write/sing it. I can write most genres, for any voice range. Let me hear your voice, I probably got a song written for you in the stock room. But don't get it twisted, I own the copyrights.

Regressions and Beats

Last Night I scalped my way into the Corrine Bailey Rae concert. True I'm broke as fuck right now, but it was worth every penny! She sings like a Macy Gray/Billie Holiday but in the voice and body of ...
