Forged in the blue-collar suburbs of St. Louis, Behind the Stars is a five-piece alternative rock band committed to creating a loud, passionate, and moving sound. The foundation of Behind the Stars has its roots in the sonic dynamism of bands like The Smashing Pumpkins and Sunny Day Real Estate. Having cut their teeth on the music of these and other early nineties bands, Behind the Stars has incorporated the noise of todays broadband world into a modern alternative sound for the iPod generation.
