Split Vision is a pop/rock-group consisting of five members who all met at a music college in Stockholm.
They started playing together during the fall of 2004. So far they've recorded four demos (18 songs) and always have new material in the making. All present members are active as musicians & songwriters, and everyone are involved in the recording/mixing & producing of the songs, although Erik (Linder, guitar) is the superior of the five, when it comes to producing.
The earliest incarnation of Split Vision started out as the instrumental group Magnolia in 2002. After approximately two years Arvid (Svenungsson, keyboard) & Jonah (Nilsson, keyboard, former member of the group) hooked up with Leonard (Malm, vocals), as they searched for a leadingrole for their musical. They were completely blown away by his vocal abilities, and proposed to the other members of Magnolia to introduce Leonard as a leadsinger for the band. As Magnolia headed for a more pop/rock-oriented sound, they changed their name to Shandola, which later became Split Vision. The bandname originates from the wide variety of musical influences that characterize the sound of the group.
