CHEYENNE MEDDERS

About Me

Hey, everybody. My band is on the verge of releasing our first record. It'll be my third when you include my two solo albums. I've started to record a bunch of demos, just some acoustic "one-takers" that I will post soon. I think my next solo thing is going to be sort of countryish among other things.
Lord willing, The Medders are going to tour towns near you very soon. Look for our self-titled debut record later this summer. Thanks!
About me:
My hometown is Resaca, Georgia. I grew up on Chitwood Farm, a square mile of meadowed and wooded hills that was once the site of a major Civil War battle. My parents had and have really good taste in music. They cared for me and my brothers and are still together. Dad writes songs and taught me my first guitar chords.
I've been constantly writing songs since I was twelve. I'm 27 now and live in Nashville, TN. My favorite instruments to play are guitar, bass, piano, organ and banjo. I make noise with all kinds of things, such as melodica, leaves and springdrum when I'm recording. I sing and play guitar in The Medders, and currently play bass and sing backup in two other bands: Annie Williams and The Nobility.
I've produced and/or engineered projects by Red Shepherd, Danielle Lauderdale, Jule Medders, India Galyean, Dave McCormick, Annie Williams, Fancy Dan, Raimah, and many country demos. I'm fortunate enough to have access to a wonderful studio in Green Hills, and if you're interested in recording, let's talk! Contact me here or [email protected].
