September lynn good was on her way home from school monday. she just got off the phone with her dad and he was on his way home too. well with Septembers balled tires and sleek roads from the rain September lost control of the car and turned side ways and was hit by a van. there was a hold up on blue creek road cause of the crash, so septembers dad went around when he got home september wasnt there so he got back in his truck and rove uo the street finding that his daughter was hit. She was took to Onslow memorial, they couldnt do anything cause she was brain dead so they took her to pitt. But the last family member got there they desided to let her go to heaven. here is part of a news artical: Wednesday was tough. September, the student everyone knew so well for so long, died in Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville on Wednesday from injuries sustained in a car wreck after school Monday. She was 18 and a senior at Southwest. The accident occurred near Foy Lockamy Road in the Southwest area. "She was a wonderful girl, friendly, focused and would do anything that you asked her to do," Bryan said. "She worked hard at her part-time job, too." Students learned of their classmate's death during morning announcements, Bryan said. A team of trained professional counselors, part of Onslow County Schools' critical incident student management group, were on hand to help students deal with their emotions, she said. "Students were invited to come to meet in the media center to complete banners, cards and to be with each other," Bryan said. "And they spent a lot of time doing that." The school had cards distributed around campus for students who did not feel strong enough to gather elsewhere. "All in all, I think the students handled the sadness well and gave each other great support," she said. "It's been a difficult two days, but I think the students have handled things remarkably well." its almost a year.
