Mark Amir has been in the underground circuit since the early 90's Dee Jaying & Producing Hip Hop. Raised in Perth Amboy NJ, Music Producer Mark Amir has always been an artist looking for ways to express himself. For years Amir has advised and assisted upcomming DJ's & Producers on the right path to take when expressin there form of Art , he may not be a major artist but the people embrassed & understood why it takes so long for someone to grow. "I remember when I was 6 or 7, I used to play 45's on my Mothers stereo in her living room. Picking all my favorite singers and recording them onto cassatte, man that was the sh**." says the producer; Amir first began DJ'ing back in 1990 doing local parties for all his friends & schoolmates. And in 1991 he began making his own tracks with a 4 Sec. sampler with his Fam, Da legend, DJ Cool Raul. Then connected with K-banger, ( Peace PT3W ) & Verbal Bertalian. 4 thoes who remember these were great timez. Amir also met & connected with Jungle DJ'ing & Making beats ( Tru Brotha). Then somthin Happened az time went by. Amir met Theroy ( Of Arson Ave. ) & exploded with Arsonal which was recorded in "93 ( Big Up Pinhead). Throught time Amir Has Connected with Artist all over Perth Amboy DJ's, Mc's Break Dancers & Producers like, DJ Profile, H.Black, Loud Silencer, ect. "I be buggin, takin a sound and making it sound to your tempo and pitch". A beat connection was made with Theroy & they continue to connect with tracks. The people I worked or just kicked it about music know what I mean by the Dirt wich we gotta bump and keeps bumpin in our head." All I want to do is just create the blueprint and the foundation of the track. from there we can take it to the next level with a damn good engineer" Amir has a lot of PPL he is influnced by: E.P.M.D, De La Soul, RUN DMC, Cold Chillin Rec, Too many to name. Amir currently resides in the sunny side of South Florida so he can take the time to prepare for the upcomming Year.
