Though a woman has a right to sexual pleasure as stated in the Quran, in actual practice a woman's pleasure is always secondary to that of a man's. -- Consequently, the phrase "sexually satisfied Muslim woman" has become an oxymoron
And now the religion of Islam has today been hijacked by radical Muslim fundamentalists who have an even more negative view of sexual freedom. Paradoxically Muslim men are also very sexually frustrated. After all, what pleasure is there in making love to a woman who is caged in the home, uneducated, passive and docile. Or who one who is shamed into Unless of course, one is a sadist.The result is that Muslim women have little restraining influence with regards to regional and international relations. If we look at the world in general, we can see that countries where women have more power and freedom tend to be less violent and intolerant. Countries such as Holland and the Scandinavian countries where women have great equality to men are also the countries that are least aggressive in their behavior as global citizens. We believe God intended there to be a balance of masculine and feminine forces in order to properly shape a just society.

-Sexuality has been associated with Hinduism from an early stage. Yet modern India still has issues that are problematic for millions of women.
Kama (materialistic living which includes sex) is one among the four paths suggested in Hinduism to merge with Brahman or to escape from rebirth (Moksha). Many scholars think these sculptures were meant to explain the ‘Kama’ aspect to people.A closer study of Hinduism will reveal that sex was never a taboo during the ancient period. Some believe they were meant for sex education and there is nothing unnatural for temples to have them.The ancient Hindu kings of India were noted for their extravagance. The Indian government has reported that an estimated 6,000 women a year die as a result of dowry abuse in India. Many more are maimed and injured. While these figures are shocking, they may only be the tip of the iceberg. Others have placed the number of dowry-related deaths closer to 25,000 a year.
