Jofe @ NDJ Productions

Jofe started in the latest 80's, not as a dj but as a music lover. He used 2 go out 2 every single party in Portugal, but soon an different feelling 4 the music was growing inside him. Jofe no longer wanted 2 be in the dancefloor just shaking is ass. He was looking 4 something different. It didn't pass 2 much time, for him 2 be envolved as a friend, of one of the most brilliant Portuguese dj's ( Luis Leite ), who was the main person envolved in Jofe first introduction to the world of djiing. Jofe used 2 send nights at the old club " Alcântara Mar ", just seeing "Luis Leite" & "dj Jiggy", messing with the decks. With them he learned most of the things that he knows...
Then, on the early 90's, with the support from some friends, Jofe went 2 a dj contest. After 3 weekends of trials, Jofe won the contest and from there he has really started his career. He started 2 do his own matiné partys in Lisbon, just for friends and people living around, till the day he meet Nando & Zé, the owners of a big party agency by that time, called "Supreme Apotheosis". This was a big step for Jofe, cause from there he started 2 play at the best clubs and raves in Portugal and sharing the deck's with some of the most important national & international dj's.
He's mate "Luis Leite" asked him 2 play in the best club that Portugal add on that time ( Alcantara Mar ) and those 2 nights are still in Jofe's head, as the more important moments of his career. Then, in 1998 along with a friend, Jofe started a new career as a record retailer. That was something quite new for him, and for the first time in leaving Portugal, Jofe went 2 London 2 look for some record retailers. He couldn't know that is life was about 2 change again. On that some year his " SPECIAL TREASURE" as borned. Jofe's little girl ( NADJA ), changed Jofe's life for ever.
He closed his shop and went 2 the U.K. trying 2 start an international career, but things weren't so good in there and Jofe turned back into Portugal. After a couple of months, Jofe was invited 2 work as the responsible of record import at Bimotor, the biggest shop on Portugal for dj's and club fans.
He stay there for nearly three year's and then started is own bussiness again, this time with is mate's Filipe Rosa & A. Paul, oening a shop called Genesis and later renamed Nadja Records. By this time Jofe's life was about 2 change again. By meeting A. Paul, one of the best techno producer's in Portugal, Jofe started to be involved in the music production.
They used 2 send hours at night doing musics and playing Playstation, Pro Evolution Soccer... Lol. It was with Genesis & A. Paul that Jofe launched is first 12" and mix cd.
