About Me

is a nonprofit environmental organization
dedicated to designing, constructing and
preserving green spaces in the greater
Los Angeles area. Since 1990 ,
NET has planted over 20,000 trees as well
as, designed and built dozens of
neighborhood parks and green areas. Founded
by Scott Wilson, an educator, landscape
architect, contractor and arborist, the
grassroots organization is recognized for
its creation of innovative, native plant based
sustainable designs, and for forging bonds
between projects and the surrounding communities.

My Interests

Our core values of sustainability and green spaces are intergratedinto our park design and build, watershed management, as well as, community and youth stewardship programs.

Our programs include Urban Forestry, Urban Park Development, Watershed Improvements, Youth Environmental Stewardship, and Commmunity Stewardship. All of these Programs are designed to forward our Mission to

"Restore Nature's Services to Improve the Quality of Life in Our Neighborhoods".

We especially look foward to helping residents in the most resource challenged or deprived communities by assisting them with building their own capacity to participate in the creation and stewardship of the environmental improvement projects that together we can implement.
