Well, not to be too redundant, but travelling, movies, music, gambling, dining out. There's others but that's enough for now. For those who know me, know this section hasn't been updated in a while, still like to travel but haven't taken any trips in a while, still like music and movies but gambling got me into a little trouble there for a little bit, lately just been busy working, currently looking for new interests.
Any celebrities, I like most people am fascinated with fame. If your famous, get a hold of me, I'll take you out to lunch. I'll have to think about it and get specific, but for now, if you have ever had an album out or been on tv, it's an open invite. Ok, to update this as well, that sounds a little shallow but still true, I would still love to hear from any celebrity, and nowadays, just anybody, seems like I'm the one doing all the talking everywhere lately, don't be shy, say hello, sadly, I don't have much else going on right now, chances are, I'll be home (sigh)
Just about everything, especially rap and country, I guess the best way to sum it up, here's my top ten concerts that I've been too, 1. Project Revolution-the Used, Less than Jake, Snoop Dogg, Korn and Lincoln Park. 2.Garth Brooks 3.Queensryche and Metallica 4. WHFS festivals in DC, alt bands like Cracker, Violent Femmes, James, etc. 5.Faith No More,Guns'N'Roses and Metallica 6.Faster Pussycat, Slaughter and Motley Crue 7. Jessica Andrews and Faith Hill 8.The Game and Snoop Dogg. 9.Sevendust, Kid Rock and Metallica 9.Ozzfests (some favorite live performances there would have to be Disturbed, Mudvayne, Iron Maiden, Ozzy and Marilyn Manson) 10.Vince Neil at the AVNs, but that's a whole different story. Anyway, that's an idea, to put in perspective, the first album I bought when I was 5 for about 50 cents at a flea market, that was Glen Campbell's "Rhinestone Cowboy" the last two CDs I that I have been listening to, 2Pac's Greatest Hits and Ice Cubes "Laugh Now,Cry Later" and just about everything in between. Oh, another great concert, Xzibit, Limp Bizkit and Eminem. (Every one needs to quit hatin on Durst, Chocolate Starfish is an awesome album) anyway, that's a taste of the music I'm into. Another update, I actually suprised my mom and took her to see Neil Diamond at Madison Square Garden, and yes, that was a good concert as well, Neil puts on a great show, complete with full orchestra, it was pretty cool.
Again, everything from sappy chick flicks (Beaches, When harry met Sally, Bed of Roses,Finding Neverland) to such violent gems as Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill, actually I like a ton of movies, mention one, I've probably seen it, it has to be really really lame for me not to like it, and sometimes even then I do anyway, movies rock! Yet another update, one of the best movies I've seen this year, JUNO, it should be coming out on DVD soon if you missed it at the theather, I highly recommend that one!
Not ready for Tivo yet, so now, if I like a show I usually just pick up the seasons on DVD, got all the seasons on Friends, Sex and the City and Charmed. The Simpsons, Family Guy and American Dad are all good. Watch episodes of Punk'd and Stacked on the I-pod. WOW, this must have been put up a long time ago, I can't even think of what Stacked is right now, ok, as I typed this I just remembered I think it was that show with Pamela Anderson at the bookstore, I think at the time, Punk'd and Stacked were a couple of the only tv shows available on itunes, I was probably just trying to sound cool, man that's lame, haven't watched anyhthing on the ipod in a while, and lately I've been watching more movies on dvd than tv shows and lastly to make up for trying to sound cool with the ipod before, everyone I know has a cooler cell phone that I do rght now, I need a new one, I'm working on it.
Why read when you can watch the DVD, but I guess if you have to pick up a book, A Catcher in the Rye, Knock Wood by Candice Bergen and the Bible, all good books. Haven't picked up any of the three in a while but still highly recommend them all. The Current two books I'm trying to read now are the Secret by Rhonda Byrne and The Secret Things of God by Dr. Henry Cloud. I haven't finished the Secret yet but it makes some good points and I know a couple of people whose lives it has changed for the better already.
the people that fight for the freedom of this country, and also the people who died needlessly by just being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Everyday people who go unnoticed and just do what they do to make things better for their families and the world a better place.
