I'll be honest, I'm a big fan of the airline paperback -- Clive Cussler, Dan Brown, Robert Ludlum, et. al., but I also enjoy more "high brow" literature. You know, the kind of stuff you conspicuously read on subways to impress total strangers. Let's see, anything by Michael Chabon is a gimme, Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, Leaves of Grass, Dharma Bums, etc. etc. I have hundreds of books and am drawing a blank. Then there's the fantasy stuff like LOTR, George R R Martin, and Philip Pullman. Oh, and I love George McDonald Frasier's "Flashman" series.
