About Me

I am a philosopher, musician (violin and vocal), writer (fiction and non-fiction) and artist.

Currently, I am a PhD fellow at the University of Southern Denmark. My main research project is trying to describe how the composition can be said to order the actions of the musicians in an ensemble (given the strange fact that the musicians often are revising the composition at the same time).

... Oh yes, and my Live365 radio station, Random Thoughts: http://www.live365.com/stations/fiskogskaldyr?play&site= live365

My Interests

Music, films, good books (unfortunately I have little time to read other things than philosophy these days but I try to fit in fiction), fitness, food

I'd like to meet:

... Hmm.. I worked for three months at a management bureau for Danish Comedians and that sort of made me immune to the mythological glow that celebrity normally carries with it in public space... However I would still like to meet people like Diana Wynne Jones, Rune T. Kidde and Ian Anderson for a cup of tea :)

Music:

A lot! I have no genre boundaries in my record collection. But there might be a weight on progressive metal, melodic metal in general and folk-ish pop/rock

Movies:

Breaking the Waves, The Big Lebowski, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Amélie, L.A. Confidential and several others

Television:

Having had a job at the Danish national tv-station TV2 checking taped shows for technical errors, marking when the program starts and ends on the tape and other fun stuff, I have watched a lot of television. It is, however, difficult to tell whether my favorite shows are favorites because they shine in comparison with my least favorite shows... So I am not naming any right now.

Books:

"Der Spiegel im Spiegel" by Michael Ende, "Salme ved reisens slutt" by Erik Fosnes-Hansen and several others. Right now I am catching up on the Harry Potter-series.

Heroes:

Depends on one's definition of a hero. A lot of people have meant the world for me. They might not mean the world for everyone else, so I keep them close to the heart... string quartet in the background
