I love winter in Colorado and summers in San Diego. I graduated Colorado State with a bachelors in Psychology. I have worked with autistic adults and children, as well as teaching preschool to 3 year olds at Kindercare and directing an after school program in a Broomfield elementary school. I grew up in suburban Denver, Colorado and went to school in Fort Collins where I lived until I moved to San Diego, California. San Diego was great, I have lots of good and bad memories. Significantly, my dog (black and tan Mini Pinscher) Mikey, was hit and killed by a car on August 26, 2005; then I got my new baby Mona (a chocolate Min Pin) about 3 months later when I realized I couldn't live without a dog. I also met and started dating my now husband, Walter, after we met working together habilitating disabled adults. We moved to Oceanside, got Race (our Doberman- big version of Mona for Walter), and Walter re-enlisted in the Marine Corps and was later sent to Japan near Tokyo. I moved back home to Colorado until he got back and we had our big official wedding there. We're now stationed in California and living in North County San Diego. We found out we are expecting our first baby due April 19th, 2009. We are so excited!
