$moove was born september twenty first and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennyslvania In the heart of the city on the 2300th block of Centre Ave Located on the mean streets of the Hill District. $moove was raised by His mother and grandmother. He was forced to grow up faster than others because of all those hard times and
His grandmother was hard and bitter at some times but that never directed his inside drive. His parents were young and never married, And his father, who choose to pursue tax-free income on the streets, spent more time behind bars then he did with his son so that left his mother to raise a young boy who was growing up In one of Pittsburghs most dangerous neiborhoods all by her self."His mother and grandmother taughed him everything like many kids in the inner city his age growing up without a father, $moove sought to escape the poverty and death of his environment.
Early on he took to writing various musings-ghetto poetry, loose narratives; nothing quite structured, though he was influenced by rap gods like Jay-Z, Tupac, Eazy-E, Dj Quick and Bone Thugs-n-harmony $moove He listened to Bone a lot, cause thats what his older brother listened to. The freewriting he had been doing had morphed into full-fledged rhymes, but that was a secret he never let nobody know until he met friends Ace and Jason stabbs. Ace was the first person smoove met when he got to high school and smoove knew stabbs but didn't really start connecting until they chilled at a Pittsburgh annual event called the three rivers ragatta. Stabbs was already a well known local artist on Pittsburghs west end and wanted to expand his carear, so his friend who rapped under the name Jason Stabbs, approached $moove with the idea of becoming a group. If $moove wanted to be down, he could be part of the crew that they were calling G.M.R. Which stands for get money regardless, So in tha mean time $moove was down. because he always felt like if he was going to get into doing rap professionally, he wanted to get into it with somebody who he could trust. So he started a group of friends and family, ace made the beats and every body else rapped but since smoove didn't have the courage to rap he wanted to make beats with ace. Until one day that changed after Ace, Stabbs and $moove were in the car and the music was playing and $moove started spittin one of his 16bar hidden raps so after stabbs heard it, he told smoove to stop making beats because he's was a rapper now.
He started rhyming outside and everybody started telling him 'You should shop your material.' And this is before he even got in the studio." so when he finally did get a chance to get into the studio he couldn't
ride the beat so producer at the time Mike Dugan told him that he liked the materal but didnt like his style and told him not to come back until he had a had a new style, And soon enough $moove came back with a new attitude and a new style and did his first two songs on wax and thats when he got his courage up.
Fronted by J-stabbs, GMR quickly caught the public eye. They produced their first street album called real recognize real volume one with original membersJason Stabbs and $moove, filled with seven-teen high quality tracks, And created it from everything from making the songs to making the discs,and then and gave the cd away for free. Thats how $moove really got his name through the mixtape.
That's why people know $moove today even with the lack of support people have in Pittsburgh but GMR is still steady making a name for themselves through the mixtapes, ryming on the streets, and local performances but despite everything that happens, $moove is not prepared to take it easy.

$moove has grew gradually since the last year rockin the mic. And he's so glad That he is in this rap game where he rightfully belong, He is so happy that his parents and grandparents was so hard on him in the past because now that he look back, He realizes that it only made him stronger for the real world.
$moove also continues to get lots of honors from the online community. ovegasounds.com named $moove as one of the featured artists for an international exposure along with other a cupple other top artists from the Pittsburg Area for 2007 And $moove's presence on the Internet has attracted many new fans to his music In this past year, Also $moove's profile on Myspace.com has exploded to over 20,000 plays and views and over 10,000 friends
$moove Was Also a Pittsburgh Hip-Hop award 2007 nominee for best graphic artist
And with 1 mixtape already under His belt Smoove Just Finished His First debut Street Album entilted "Cool Calm & Collected"(November 21st 2008) and Is now workin on his official Album for the summer of 09 so stay tuned for updates
