About Me

Hmmm....where to begin?....I'm shy but feisty once you get to know me (I've got the Swede blood, you know), competitive, love to laugh, total smartass....Stupidity drives me up a wall. I can't think of anything else to say without it sounding completely cliche', so there you go...

My Interests

Cooking good food, drinking great wine, singing (although usually not in front of other people), reading when I have the time....my friends and family

I'd like to meet:

Tasty man morsel of the moment....Zinedine Zidane. Need I say more?

Music:

I could write a novel here...music is my passion, and I would literally curl up in the fetal position if I didn't have it in my life. You name it, I probably listen to something within that genre. I look for voices that move me and/or lyrics that have something to say. Occasionally I just look for something that I can totally geek out to. Sometimes I'm mainstream, other times I'm off the beaten path. Local music? Brandi Carlile, Radio Nationals, Left Hand Smoke, Maktub. Reggae? You can't go wrong with Bob, but there's also Toots and the Maytals, Dennis Brown, and Tanya Stephens. Blues? Jonny Lang (his first album is the best) and Susan Tedeschi. Country? Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, and don't forget Miss Patsy Cline. My all-time faves? Tom Petty, ABBA (sorry--defining music of my childhood), and Mozart.

Movies:

I can't remember the last time I went to a movie...There isn't much that's worth seeing. Do we really need a remake of Dallas?

Television:

Ugly Betty, Prison Break (Have you SEEN Wentworth Miller?), Grey's Anatomy, Lost, My Name is Earl, The Office

Books:

The Davinci Code, Good in Bed, Good Night Nobody, almost anything by Sidney Sheldon

Heroes:

My parents
