My family...
I also love interior design, architecture, home design/remodeling, painting (mainly walls, now starting canvas'), most impressionist art (Monet is my favorite artist), music, theater, visiting big cities (not living there though), traveling, bargain shopping. I love the Fall season, (I think snow is pretty, but I hate the hassle of it all), and especially love touring through old house museums, as well as other museums too...
My Savior Jesus Christ, of course... ~~~I've also got "pen-pals" of sorts~ a family in Germany with our same last name, and we have been e-mailing for over 5 years now. We just got to meet Stefan, but I would love to visit Germany and get to meet the rest of their family. ~~~I guess I'm open to meeting anyone~ doesn't mean we have to be friends though...
My all time favorites have always been Third Day, Newsboys, Rich Mullins, TobyMac, even a new recent fan of Skillet, and many other Christian alternatives out there... December Radio, NeedToBreathe (I LOVE their song "Washed by the Water"), Robbie Seay Band, Mercy Me, Paul Colman, most worship music... Aaron calls my music taste "very U2" :-)
I'm a huge movie fan... I love, love, love the "Bourne" movies... "The Game" is probably my all-time favorite... I love the suspense! "The Prestige", "Batman Begins", "Tombstone", "Ocean's Eleven" are also favorites... surprising to me "X-men"'s, "Napoleon Dynammite", "Dumb and Dumber"... "You've Got Mail" is my all time favorite chick-flick... "Pride and Prejudice", "Ever After", "The Notebook", "Princess Bride", "One Fine Day", "Sleepless in Seattle" & "Runaway Bride" are probably the other current favorite girly movies. And just added, "Enchanted"~ Abi and I love that one too! "Nanny McPhee", "Meet the Robinsons", "Curious George", "Monsters Inc.", "Finding Nemo", "VeggieTales-Jonah", "Toy Story 1 & 2" (I use the excuse of having kids...) Classics like "An Affair to Remember" and "Wizard of Oz", along with a few other B/W movies... I CANNOT stand horror, old Westerns, or old war movies, along with the James Bond series (though I can tollerate them more than the westerns or WWII movies...)
I do occasionally get to watch "Without a Trace", "Law and Order"s, "the Office"... Aaron has me hooked on "Heroes" (I don't think I'd like it if we didn't start from the very beginning. It's difficult to follow if you miss even one episode...) And of course, most interior/exterior design shows, house flipping shows, etc on TLC or HGTV~ "Design Star" was a fav I'm NOT a huge fan of almost all of the reality TV shows out there (especially "Big Brother" ~soooo stupid!...)
I've always liked John Grisham books, and now there is another author similar to JG that I've found~ Robert Whitlow~ I've loved each of books I've read so far! I don't really get to read books as much as I'd like to... I'm more of a "Better Homes and Gardens" or "Parents"/"Child" magazines reader... not much time to just sit down and "curl up with a good book" anymore
my husband, my parents, my in-laws, a few missionaries we know personally. Those who lay everything on the line to serve and protect my family without even knowing us... **Anyone who does what is right, despite pressure not to, or even when it's not what is "popular".
