>Im an easy-goimg man who loves music, family, friends, and achieving reachable goals. Ive been exposed to many forms of music in my life. First it was gospel as my father has been a minister for my entire life. Then it was country-western growing up in York Nebraska and Lyons Kansas. I also was exposed to 50's & 60's rock and pop that my mother listened to. My sister introduced me to rock&roll and modern pop in the 80's. I remember buying/stealig casette tapes from bands like Poison, Warrant, Motley Crew, Bon Jovi, Metalica and Ozzy Osbourne. Anything I could get my hands on that would piss off my parents I had to have. Then I heard Hip-Hop for the very first time. I couldn't believe my ears. I had to hear everything this genre had to offer. This "noise" as my parents called it, had me intrigued from the very beggining. I instantly got hooked on groups like Public Enemy, 2Live Crew, Run Dmc, Tone Loc, Ice-T, N.W.A., and the Getto Boys. My intrest in this musick made me stick out like a sore thumb. Almost all of the kids were stuck on country or radio bullshit while i was stuck on X-Clan and Eric-B & Rakim. I didn't have that many friends. I spent alot of time in my basement ruining my mom's Elvis and Beach Boys lps trying to figure out how Eric-B and Terminator-X made those scratching noises. At 19, now living in Pontiac Michigan, I bought my first set of turn-tables. Slowly, but surely I learned how to mix and scratch. I wasn't the best & I'm still not, but I still have a love for this music that I discovered when I was six years old.
