Fashion <[b>SUPER duh] - esp. up and coming or indie designers, reading, character development (I have an especially soft spot for KIDS!), God/spiritual matters, shopping [duh again],reading - when I have time, and financial literacy [something I need to really up my game on]
I'm here to network (and though not opposed to, I am tired of commercial themed shoots for model comp cards). I would like to create high-fashion shoots with the following:-- RETAILERS and designers: for a limited time, I'll coordinate your shoot for FREE, and provide you with images that can then be used for advertising/promotions. How this works, if you have a merchandise loan agreement, I'll read it, sign it, scan it and send it back to you. If you don't have one - send me a message with your e-mail and I'll send you a sample of one that I've used. I've worked with both in and out of state retailers with no problems. (references per request). My experience with fashion show production has taught me all the precautions of caring for clothes that have been loaned out.INNOVATIVE hair and mua -- must be willing to break the box . . .--Photographers! - specifically looking for TFP/CD - but if not, let's work a deal ; I bring the clients, you hook-up our price!--Magazines & Fashion Pubs! - looking to be published so I'll coordinate the shoot for ALMOST nothing!--Show Coordinators-- With so much to do (secure retailers and designers, coach models, rent equipment, etc), you may need an extra hand. Rates negotiable.--Fashion Heads PERIOD! - let's keep each other inspired!!!BOTTOM LINE: These are just suggestions.
If you think we can help one another in any way -- LET'S GET IT!Much Love & Many Blessings (-:

Alicia Keys, Lil Wayne (i know I shouldn't but i can't help it! lol), Destiny's Child/Beyonce, Yolanda Adams, Lauren Hill . . . but mostly I'm not particular . . . I just like what I like when I hear it.
I like to flip through movies with the sound off and pause at certain points just to focus on what the characters are wearing.
For Example: Devil Wears Prada (2006), Idlewild (2006), Memories of a Geisha (2005), Clueless (1995), & Ocean's 11 (1960) were all great movies to do this to.
Seriously don't watch much. But episodes of Sex in the City and Girlfriends are always good. There are a lot of shows that deal with fashion I like to catch too - primarily on the Style Network or E!Love: Top Model (though it has become waaay predictable and I don't think the winner gets enough time to shine before the new season starts. How Do I Look: can't stand to watch the whole thing though -- I DVR it and then fast forward to the outfit, hair and makeup choices.Stylistics: A DIY show that inspires me, yet I've yet to complete a task I started lolKLS Fab Life: I only wish it had aired longer. Was seriously like half a season. And I luuved her little girls.
Too many to list. I once had a reputation for being "book smart" -- (-:
None other than Christ! Only he knows how far I've come. Without him, I know I'm noting. And I look forward to what He has in store.Edit: March 23rd -- Last night I got a word, that also served as confirmation. To sum it up: I know fashion isn't important, but since "finding" her I've been happier because it is something I'm passionate about. But what those who wish to know me should understand is this is just the beginning; a stepping stone . . . a platform from which I will bridge fashion with something far more important, a greater cause that will edify and uplift the Lord's name (especially once I grow and mature in His kingdom) while also helping those who NEED Him (whether they realize it or not).I work in the schools (secondary education i.e. grades 7-12). We all know that this generation is crazy. Shoot, I'm CRAZY lol, but it's all going to work out in the end lol -- not to say YOU or even I will be "good" because think on this (and this is paraphrasing something I heard Pastor Mark Thompson say): there is no such thing as a MISTAKE in the kingdom of heaven. There are no "oops" in God's perfect will (end paraphrase) lol, so while things will work out -- ask yourself, will it work for or against me? and what am I doing to ensure that?Good day, and God Bless.
