..oops I've done that...TWICE!! EWF are so very gracious and accomodating to their fans.Not many, if any, bands nowadays take the time to thank their fans with "meet and greet" sessions. EWF does it EVERY CONCERT for we Devoted Spirits.
But with all my heart and soul, one of the things to try and scratch off my to do list before I leave this earth, is to meet this Gift from our Creator:
Mr.Maurice White
To be in his presence would be humbling, an honor, and a blessing. If I don't meet him here I'm certain I will meet him on "Jupiter" aka heaven
I've met all of the current band members including Verdine, Philip & Ralph. Nonetheless, I have to admit...I looked like a deer in the headlights when I did. Totally starstruck and I'd even told myself I wouldn't be. It's taken awhile for me to get used to the new band but they've grown on me. I would love to meet many of the original members not limited to Andrew Woolfolk, Larry Dunn, Al McKay,Reggie Young,Sherry Scott,Beloyd Taylor,Ronnie Laws,Roland Bautista,Johnny Graham.. and the many talented artists,still among us,that at one time or another participated in the band. I pay respect to misters Louis Satterfield and Don Myrick, original members of the Phenix Horns, who have gone on before us.
I would also like to meet my goals and dreams, my helpmate in life, Diana Ross (whom I've sang with), Bette Midler, Sinbad (he my husband he just don't know it yet),Bill Clinton, Ellen DeGeneres, Oprah Winfrey and Maya Angelou for starters.

One of the last songs of the 1978's musical Sgt. Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band, a movie starred Peter Frampton and Beegees, the four artists played the role of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (band which represents The Beatles). All the songs that appear in the movie belong mostly to the Beatles's albums Sgt. Pepper, Magical Mystery Tour and Abbey Road.Other artists that appear in the movie are Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, Billy Preston & Steve Martin.

These of course are not "rare" videos but they are destined to be classic EWF performances. What an honor to be asked to play at the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony. No better artists could represent what this organization stands for. EWF..a class act as always. Philip's voice was "Pure Gold" as always. I loved how the crowd of "dignitaries" fought so hard the urge to move but Philip's voice got them fidgiting a bit more. By the time September was sung the "Devoted Spirits" could be picked out of the crowd. Dancing, partying. Tipper Gore was rockin' and Al was right there dancing like he was on top of the world. Oh that's right, he was! I loved the full orchestra. They only enhanced the talent displayed by all the band's members. I never tire of seeing or hearing EWF.

The Violin-playing Robot is capable of performing a variety of tasks with its hands and arms. Its delicacy of movement is best demonstrated by the fact it can play the violin. As a violinist myself I'm a bit worried that this technology will soon replace the need for human violinists. Help!! Robots are taking over the orchestral world.The 1.5-metre tall Violin-playing Robot, equipped with a total of 17 joints in each of its hands and arms, uses precise control and coordination to achieve human-like agility. It could also be used to assist with domestic duties or nursing and medical care.
