Born and bred in friendly Birmingham,from solid Irish stock
Galvanised by Punk/Reggae in 77.moved to London,got involved in funk/soul warehouse scene early 80s then on road with bands til it nearly killed me.Moved to San Francisco in 91.Met my wife Gail and started Bulletproof(funky clothes shop and hilarious parties on sea and land)restless as ever moved again with newborn son Jack to Liverpool(98) and with old friend Johnny Mellor opened The Magnet Nightclub,and had our little girl Ava.Struck by wanderlust again in 2005 moved whole family to Zadar Croatia,where with more old friends Nick and Charlotte Colgan we help run Barbarellas Discotheque,and the yearly Garden Festival in the village where we all now live Petrcane
